Shave Balm
Best facial balm or lotion for men?
It's not easy finding the right product for men as far as facial creams or lotions are concerned. I have always taken good care of my skin, and it shows.....I look alot younger than my age suggests; but lately my face seems to be a little dryer than normal. I have always had relatively oily skin, but now it's turned into combination skin. Can anyone suggest the best products in the market in either an after-shave balm or a facial skin cream/lotion? Thanks in advance.
If you have combination skin you should be exfoliating regularly, at least 2 x a week!!!!!!! you can use baking soda; after you wash your face, leave the lather on and pour some baking soda in the palm of your hand..add water, a few drops at a time, until it forms a paste, but not too runny....then starting at your forehead, use circular, gentle, massaging movements and work your way down your face; go all over the face at least 3 times; then rinse rinse rinse with COOL NOT COLD water and blot dry.do this twice a week.....As far as mens' skincare, you can always try plain old baby lotion or cocoa butter......as a former makeup artist, it amazes me how people willingingly spend SO MUCH money on stuff they don't have to spend so much money on!! an emollient is all you need; thus, any moderately-priced product, such as baby lotion or cocoa butter, to name a few, would be just fine for you..Save your money for the fun stuff; clothes, perhaps a favorite cologne, etc.....if you have any further questions, email me...good luck!!
